What a fantastic Saturday morning for our Raheny Shamrock AC athletes across Ireland and even further afield! The Parkrun spirit was alive and well, with a brilliant turnout from our club members demonstrating their dedication and talent.
From top finishes to personal bests, it was a day to celebrate community and healthy competition. Let’s dive into the highlights!
Stellar Performances & Podium Finishes!
We are absolutely thrilled to report some truly outstanding results from our runners today.
A massive congratulations to our first-place finishers:
Annette KEALY was the 1st female finisher at Malahide Parkrun, securing an incredible 4th place overall with a blistering time of 00:18:58! What a phenomenal run!- Zoe QUINN also claimed the title of 1st female finisher at St Anne’s Parkrun, finishing 12th overall in a superb 00:19:28! Excellent work!
We also want to give a huge shout-out to our athletes who secured Top 10 overall finishes:
Peter SMYTH — 5th place overall at Inch Beach (00:23:09)- Andrew BURNS — 7th place overall at Broadmeadow Linear (00:22:10)
- Declan WHOOLEY — 9th place overall at Father Collins (00:22:01)
And the strong performances didn’t stop there! Several club members earned Top 10 gender positions at their respective events:
- Sarah DENEHER (5th Female) & Aine CRIMIN (7th Female) at Malahide
- Rebekah ATKINS (6th Female) & Remy KENNEDY (8th Female) at St Anne’s
- Mary PURDUE-SMYTH (8th Female) at Donabate
- Hannah COLEMAN (9th Female) at Fairview

Club Participation Snapshot
It was brilliant to see the green and white vests representing the club at 13 different Parkruns this weekend! Our biggest turnout, as always, was at our home turf, St Anne’s, but we also had fantastic representation further afield.
