Mark Kirwin took second place in the Cork City Marathon posting two hours 25 minutes 18 seconds behind Gary O’Hanlon who won out in 2:21.10.
Brian Leahy came home ninth overall in two 37 minutes and two seconds. While Tommy Crampton posted 3.27.40.
In the half marathon Cillian O’Leary a previous winner of the Cork City Marathon took second place in 69 minutes 18 seconds.
Sergui Ciobanu winning out in 67.59.
Graham O’Dwyer took 11th place in 76 minutes with Ronald Staeps clocking 1.52.50 and PJ Linehan 2.24.52.
Meanwhile Matthew Cotter won the Leinster junior triple jump with a best of 6.44 metres in Tullamore.
