It is with deep sadness that Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club have learnt of the passing of our friend and member Freddy Fox.
Mr.Fox passed away on Wednesday September 19.
Freddy was a keen member of Raheny Shamrock, a membership and enthusiasm he shared with his son Larry and grandchildren Helen, Clare and Michael.
Freddy will also be remembered with the Freddy Fox Cup, which Freddy commissioned for the parent and child race which is part of the Christmas Day race down the avenue.
Mr.Fox’s Funeral Mass takes place this Friday morning, 21st September at 10am in St. Monica’s Church, Edenmore. Burial thereafter in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
