Mick Clohisey took second place at Charleville international half-marathon just 17 seconds behind Donore’s John Travers.
Travers posted posted a personal best of 64.23 with Clohisey just behind in 64:40.
Freddy Sittuk won the Croppy Boy 10K 33 minutes 50 seconds nearly two minutes clear of Wateford’s Noel Murphy.
Jill Meehan posted 27 minutes 35 seconds in the 5K race.
A number of athlete’s competed in the Star of the Sea Cross Country in Co. Meath.
