Lucy Barrett led Raheny Shamrock home to the Leinster women’s novice championship by a stunning 34 points.
Barrett took ninth place and was following very closing home by Zoe Quinn in 10th with Orla Manley 12th and Camille Mortamet 18th, just 20 seconds separating the team.
Nadine Donegan of Tullamore Harriers took outright gold, some 39 seconds clear of Lucy Barrett.

For the record, Dunboyne took the silver medals on 83 points with the Shamrock’s on 49 and Crusaders on 103 points took bronze.
Barrett, Quinn and Manley were also members of the Dublin team which took a routine gold medal.
Others who competed proved in the green and white were Sarah Quigley, Laura Brennan, Helen Carr, Jenny Colbert, Denise Kelleher and Molly Rickard.
Brian Sexton led home the men’s team in 37th place with Dylan O’Brien, Wesley Grant and Jody Gilhooly seeing the Raheny team to 11th place. Michael Kehoe rounded out the Raheny competitors.
