There were some good performances and a club record set by Raheny athletes at the IUAA T&F championships in Santry. In far from ideal conditions, Colm Bourke won the long jump competition with a best of 6.95m. Aisling Drumgoole won silver in the 400m in 57:37. Mieke Kiernan won silver in the hammer with a best of 47.17m which is a new club record. Laura Brennan finished fourth in the 5000m in 19:12:28. Colum O’Leary was 8th in the steeple with 11:11.73 while Adam Foley was 10th in 11:17.00. Blaithin Sheil was 10th in the 3000m in 11:11:68
