Road (and Mountain) Racing Roundup – Week Ending 28th June 2026

Raheny Shamrock Athletics Club enjoyed a busy and successful week on the roads and mountains, with members competing strongly across local races and an international championship medal highlight.

Raheny  members were out in force across three days of racing, delivering strong performances over 5km and 10km distances. From the BHAA Marsh 5km on Wednesday to the Clonee 10km on Thursday and the St. Cocas Kilcock 5km on Friday, the club colours were well represented throughout the week.

Congratulations to Ian Conroy, who was part of the Ireland team that claimed a team gold medal at the World Masters Mountain Running Championships. A superb achievement on the international stage and a proud moment for Raheny Shamrock Athletics Club.
