Brian Fay set a new club indoor mile record finishing second at the AIT Grand prix tonight in 4:00.77.
Fay producing a stunning second half of the race to charge down World record holder Samuel Tefera who eventually powered up to finish in 3:55.86 with Brazil’s Thiago Andre third in 4:01.55.
Fay also set a new club indoor 1500m record of 3:41.78 bettering Kieran Kelly’s record from 2018.

Meanwhile, Kim O’Hare finished fifth in the long jump with a best of five meters 42 centimeters, jumped in her third attempt.
Elizabeth Morland won out with a best of 5.70m.
Meanwhile, Pat Timmons set a masters O/70 800m indoor record of 2:42.79 at the NIA meet in Abbotstown on Tuesday night.
