Niamh Fogarty won her third senior women’s discus title, along with U23 gold, with a best throw of 49.46m.
Fogarty’s fourth attempt being her best of the day as she posted 49.46m, attempt five registered 48.49m.
Ciara Sheehy of Emerald took silver with a best of 41.94m and Casey Mulvey (Inny Vale) took bronze with a best of 41.17m.

Kim O’Hare took senior bronze and U23 gold in the triple Jump with a best of 11.34m. The senior gold went to Saragh Buggy of St. Abbans who jumped 12.97m with Grace Furlong taking silver with a best of 12.27m.
800m H2 Iseult O’Donnell qualified for the final finishing third in heat two in 2:12.53.
In the men’s race Kieran Kelly qualified for the final taking second place in heat two in 1:56.95. Kelly will be joined in the final by Cillian Kirwan who clocked 1:57.62 for second place in heat three.
There was disappointment for Mick Clohisey in the 10,000 metres after he finished in sixth place posting 29:55.65, the race been won by Sean Tobin in 29:35.14. Daniel Stone finished in 14th place clocking 31:25.15.
