Gavin Eccles and Daniel Stone made it a Raheny one-two landing Dublin novice cross-country gold and silver as the men’s team captured the novice title.
Aisling Ahern also soared in Tymon Park taking bronze in the women’s race and leading the women’s team home to bronze.
Ahern produced an excellent performance to take bronze just six seconds off silver medallist Laura Power from Clonlifffe.
While Ahern with Mairead Roche (19), Sarah Deneher (27) and Blaithin Sheil (29) totalled 78 points for bronze, eight clear of fourth place Crusaders. DCH took gold with 24 points with Clonliffe second with 39.
There were also good performances from Orla Gilheaney (48th), Eimear O’Keefe (67th) and Laura Preston (84th).

The men’s race saw Gavin Eccles take control and come home to a very impressive gold medal some 20 seconds clear of Daniel Stone who put away Clonliffe’s Ben Guiden for a Raheny one-two.
Eccles and Stone along with Stephen Fay (seventh) and Luke Murphy (14th) took gold with a total of 24 points some 44 points clear of Tallaght in second place.
Also running in a brilliant group of four where Ian McConkey (21st), Ger Redmond (22nd), Brian Sexton (23rd) and Graham O’Dwyer (24th).
Joe McCracken (39th), Philip McCarthy (50th), John Clarke (61st), Aaron Tansey (65th), Davey Duane (73rd) along with Souvik Ghosh and David Keoghan also impressed in green and white.
