Dylan O’Brien Takes Dublin Intermediate Silver And Team Gold

Dylan O’Brien took Dublin intermediate silver as the men’s team landed the Dublin Intermediate championship.

O’Byrne ran an excellent race in Tymon Park finishing just behind Tallaght’s Brishan O’Brien with Josh O’Brien also from Tallaght taking bronze.

While Tallaght took gold and silver Robert Frewen came home just 10 seconds later for fourth with Graham O’Dwyer fifth. Brian Sexton took 11th place to round out a team victory with 22 points.

Tallaght took silver with 35 points and for the record bronze went to Donore Harriers with 56 points.

Shane Ryan (15th), Josh Chambers (35th), Aaron Tansey (44th), Davey Duane (49th), Dave Keoghan (77th) and Stephen Walsh (79th) also produced very strong performances.

The victory means Raheny landed the Dublin championship at junior, novice and intermediate grade in 2021.

In the women’s race Jenny O’Sullivan ran very strongly to finish in 10th place, leading the team home to a very credible fifth place.

Mairead Roche (17th), Sarah Deneher (21st) and Niamh Corry (22nd) rounded out the team scoring for another good performance.
