The Raheny Shamrock men’s team took second place at the Lucan Harriers 5K on Sunday.
David Jackson led the team home, taking 10th place in 29:34 followed by Brian Cotter 33:17, David Dooley 33:52 and Niall Buckley 34:36.
That gave the shamrock’s 125 points, one point better off than third placed Dunboyne and 67 points off the host club.
Also running were Adrienne Atkins 35:33, Dave Feeney 37:19 and Sinead Lyons 46:54.
On Saturday Paul Gannon took eighth place in the Dingle half-marathon in 85:42. In the full marathon Angela Charlton clocked 4:04.28 and Dave Brady kept the count going in 6:11.48.
