Mark McComish was the first Raheny athlete home in the Chicago marathon posting 3:08.15.
McComish was followed home by Denis Murphy 3:19.28, Mary Walsh 3:30.11, Caroline Farrelly 3:47.49, Una Cherry 4:09.30, Siobhan Foley 4:23.54, Alan Foley 4:23.55, Rachel Markey 4:47.34, Shay Neary 6:05.21 and Richie O’Connor 6:07.07.
Very well done to the whole crew in Chicago on great runs.
Editors note: On a stewards enquiry it was revealed that Darrell Reamsbottom clocked 2:59.57 in Chicago.
