Arroyo Claims Clontarf Half Marathon

Jesus Calle Arroyo claimed the Clontarf half-marathon this morning in 74 minutes 20 seconds.

Arroyo was some 30 seconds clear of Star of the sea’s Ciaran McKenna.

Colm Cassidy in fifth place was next Raheny man home in 79:20 followed by Kevin Byrne 83:19, Mairead Roche 94:35, Brian Cotter 1:41.23, Orlaith Smith 1:45.01.

Dan Wallace 1:43.13, Brian Hanney 1:45.25, Niall Buckley 1:53.31, Carl Moore 1:54.30, Yann O’Heiramhoin 1:48.19, Dave Feeney 1:54.30, Patrick Nolan 1:50.16.

Melanie Hearns 1:55.00, Sarah O’Neill 1:55.05, Paula Bradley 2:02.25, Corinna Flood 2:35.09 and Fiona Cummins 2:35.15.

In the five mile race John O’Sullivan was first Raheny man home in 33:11 followed by Aisling McNally 37:24, Seona O’Keeffe 37:48, Deirbhile O’Keeffe 37:53, Alma Capt 38:55, Laura Preston 40:32 and Helen Daly 45:32.
