Kieran Kelly Wins Christmas Day Race Down The Avenue

Kieran Kelly produced an excellent Christmas morning run to win the Raheny Shamrock Goal Mile (Race down the avenue).

Kelly posted 3:40 (hand timed) to claim victory some five seconds ahead of Andrew Hyland. Kelly retained the Billy Peppard Cup and created a new record sixth win.

Isuelt O’Donnell was first female home winning the Giblin Cup in 4:16 some 12 seconds clear of Lucy Barrett.

Shane Spring claimed the Shamrock trophy as first junior man home with Siomhe Magee taking the Noel Power cup as first junior woman home.

Tom Monaghan came home in an impressive 14th place to take the McDermott Cup as first juvenile.

Graham O’Dwyer was the winner of the Brian McLaughlin cup for predicted time, finishing just one second off his predicted time.
