Another dramatic weekend on the track as Brian Fay and Niamh Kearney set new indoor club records.
Brian Fay set a new club 3,000m record clocking 7:43.85 for sixth place at the New Balance meet in Boston. At the same meet Iseult O’Donnell posted 2:04.81 over 800m.
Fay was just three seconds off race winner Woody Kincaid in 7:40.71.
While Niamh Kearney posted 4:21.30 taking fourth place at the IFAM indoor 1500m in Ghent. The race was won by Marissa Damink in 4:15.80.
While Charlotte Wingfield clocked 24.03 seconds over 200m to take third place at Scottish senior championships at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
