On Friday, 24th March, a record attendance of 78 members heard the latest from across the Club.
This was the first AGM held in our Clubhouse since 2017.
Our President, Paddy Noonan, gave everyone a warm welcome in his opening address.
The members then heard updates from the Chair, the Secretary and various contributors covering the Club’s financial position, the clubhouse update, the track update, the Club Captains reports and more on the very successful year for Raheny Shamrock AC.
Several motions were unanimously passed at the meeting. These included a motion to ensure our nominated Dublin Athletics Board representative is a member of the Committee, the appointment of a Director of Coaching to strengthen our athletic performance & development and a motion to establish “Green Team” to review and promote environment friendly actions in all aspect of Club life.
