Mick Clohisey posted 2:29.48 in the Boston marathon on Monday on a very wet day.
A strong run from Mick in bad conditions on a day the Olympic gold medallist and World record holder Eulid Kipchogue was taken off the pace.
Elsewhere Owen Keegan led the Raheny contingent home at the Manchester marathon in 2:42.
Keegan was followed home by Paul O Reilly 2.51, Conor Ahern 2.57, Tommy Crampton 3.18,Darko 3.34, Caroline Farrelly 3.36, Colm Nugent 3.45 and John Frier 3.52.
