The Raheny Shamrock ladies took team took a credible fifth place at the Leinster novice cross country in Kilkenny.
Ailish Murtagh lead the team home in 13th place followed by Sarah Deneher 19th, Orlaith Smith 20th and Seona O’Keeffe 54th.
That gave the team 106 points, equal with Sportsworld for fourth place. However, Sportsworld got the nod for fifth on countback.
Meanwhile, a small Raheny Shamrock presence took to the Clonliffe 2 Mile. Orla Gormley clocked 13 minutes and 10 seconds with Ger Fay clocking 15 minutes 21 seconds.
