Dublin 10km Road Championship Medal Haul

Seamus O’Malley was the first Raheny athlete home at the Windmill 10km which incorporated the Dublin 10km Championships.

O’Malley posted 37 minutes eight seconds, along with Graham O’Dwyer 37:17, Terry Keogh 37:25 and Brian Leahy 39:55 saw the men’s team take bronze.

Also running were Davey Duane 40:51, Michael Kehoe 42:27, David O’Hara 42:30, Ken Doyle 43:45, Tom Loftus 44:32, Niall Buckley 44:52 and Orla Gilheaney 47:49.

Carl Moore 49:09, John Freir 49:30, Melanie Hearns 50:33, Christy Reilly 51:25 and Gerard Fay 60:46.

There were Dublin individual medals for Terry Keogh M50 silver, Ken Doyle M60 silver, Tom Loftus gold M65 and Melanie Hearns bronze F35.

Whereas, Keith Fleming, Michael Kehoe, David O’Hara and Ken Doyle combined to land the O/50 team title.

Meanwhile at the Sonia O’Sullivan Cobh 10 Mile, Eoin Keegan led home the team in 64:01 followed by Helen Carr 76:56, Yann O’Heireamhoin 82:31, Lisa McCarthy 84:59 and Orla McElhinney 86:35.

Elsewhere, at the Banagher 5k Conor Wynne Walsh posted 17:50, while at the at the Windmill 5km Jeff Moore posted 19:41.

Ronan Wogan took third place at the Dundalk 10km on Saturday posting 36:24. While at the Dundalk half marathon, Brian Connor posted 94:11 and Ger Fay 2:18:13.

At the Berlin Half Marathon Sorcha Delargy clocked 1:42:33 and David Cronin 2:22:34.
