Michael Brady produced the performance of his career to win the Connemara marathon on Sunday in two hours 42 minutes and 30 seconds.
Brady was nearly three minutes fast than second placed John Lee of Trim who posted 2:45.05.
Also racing in Connemara was Maurice O’Brien who posted 2:42.30.

Meanwhile, there was a big turn of runners and supporters on the streets of London for the London Marathon.
Fiona Stack led the Raheny team home posting 2:46.54, followed by Brian Kelly 2:51.41, Darrell Reamsbottom 2:58.50, Nick Alexander 3:28.48 and Lisa McCarthy 3:32.10.
Mark McComish 3:34.11, Denis Murphy 3:23.20, Anthony Sharkey 2:37.19 and Elaine McNulty 3:41.05.
