The track and field season got underway today with the Irish Milers club’s Crusaders meet in Morton Stadium.
Niamh Kearney took second place in the women’s 1500m posting 4:25.41. While Cillian Kirwan took fourth place in the 800 metres posting 1:46.84.
Meanwhile, Lucy Barrett clocked 10:05.64 to finish eighth in the 3,000 metres. In the men’s 3,000m B race Dylan O’Brien posted 9:24.53.
In the 400m B race Oisin McCorry took third posting 51:42. While Shane Spring took seventh place in the B 1500m posting 3:54.71.
