Kelly Takes National 10,000m Silver

Kieran Kelly took national 10,000 metre silver as the 10,000 metres took part in the AI games.

Kelly posted 31:46.87 for second place, behind Emmet Jennings of DSD who won out in 31:31.16. David Scanlon of Rathfarnham WSAF took bronze in 31:47.94.

Niamh Fogarty won the discus with a best of 56.36 metres, while Daphni Doulaptsi Teeuwen won the triple jump with a best of 12.16 metres.

Elsewhere at the AI Games, Tara Meier posted 14.98 seconds in the 100m hurdles.

In the 100m flat Michael Farrelly posted 10.81 seconds for second place. In series two Farrelly posted 10.76 seconds for second place.

Whereas, in the women’s race three Abena Afari clocked 13.28 seconds. In race four Isabel Twomey posted 13.29 seconds. In series two Afari posted 13.60 seconds and Twomey 13.12 seconds.

In the 200 metres, Tinaye Craig Mukanya clocked 22.92 seconds for second place in heat three. In heat six Stephen Morgan clocked 25.80 seconds.

Oisin McCorry won heat two of the 400m hurdles in 57.81 seconds. In the 800m Conall Rogers clocked 1:55.99.
