Sometimes it takes a bit of time to write about a report on a result or event.
Saturday night’s 4x400m women’s relay, left many including myself with that feeling.
One of pride in our club mate Sophie Becker and her Ireland teammates Rhasidat Adeleke, Phil Healy and Sharlene Mawdsley.
There is no words left to describe the race. They gave it everything to the very last second, something that shows the best of themselves, the best of Ireland and the best of Irish athletics.
To Sophie, it is an honour to call you our club mate. To Rhasidat, Phil, Sharlene and Sophie you were brilliant, you were incredible. You are real Olympians.
