Rob Frewen posted 74 minutes 14 seconds at the Tullamore Half-Marathon which incorporated the Leinster Half Marathon Championships.
Frewen was followed home by Eoghan Wrafter 79:01, Sean Kelly 79:54, Eric Champ 80:48, Terry Keogh 81:14, Ross Ringwood 85:04, Ciara Brady 86:41.

There was Leinster silver for the men’s team of Rob Frewen, Eoghan Wrafter and Sean Kelly.
At the Lucan five mile incorporating the Dublin five Mile Championships Juan Ignacio Pena took silver in 25 minutes one second.
Gold went to Clonliffe’s Efrem Gidey in a course record of 22:57. Whereas Kate Purcell took silver in the women’s race in 28:40. Faye Dervan of DCH won out in 28:06.
Cillian O’Leary came home in 25:56 followed by Jeff Moore 31:24, Damien Martin 33:57, Brian McWeeney 34:18, Brian Cottor 35:59, Brendan Atkins 37:06.
Una Cherry 39:19, Des Lyons 39:57, Ger Fay 41:56, Mary Purdue-Smyth 42:08 and Sinead Lyons 45:15.
The women’s O/35’s team of Kate Purcell, Una Cherry, Mary Purdue Smyth & Sinead Lyons took gold.
There was team bronze for the men’s senior team of Juan Pena Ignacio Pena, Cillian O’Leary and Jeff Moore and Damien Martin.
Whereas, the O/50′ men’s team of Brian McWeeney, Brendan Atkins, Des Lyons and Ger Fay took silver.
At the Waterside half-marathon Mary Lynch clocked 1:46:03. On Friday John Dunne posted 16:29 at the Tara AC 5km in Skryne with Ger Fay clocking 27:38.
