It was a day of one gold, two silver and three bronze at the national half-marathon which was held as part of the Charleville half-marathon.
Cillian O’Leary led the team home taking M40 bronze in 69 minutes 24 seconds.
While, Kate Purcell took F40 gold in 79 minutes. There F50 silver for Tara Kennedy in 86:58 and F55 silver for Maria Dolan in 91:06.
Also proudly wearing green and white were David Kirwin 72:48, Andrew Hyland 73:18, Graham Ahearne 77:50, Eoin Keegan 79:38, Gerard Curley 81:28, Christopher Quaid 81:40 and Jenny Colbert 1:50:54
On the team front the senior ladies team of Kate Purcell, Tara Kennedy and Maria Dolan took bronze.
There was also bronze for the mens masters 35 team of Cillian O’Leary, David Kirwan and Graham Ahearne.
Very well done to all competing keeping the club’s proud half-marathon tradition running.
