Bronze Dublin Women’s Statue

It was bronze for the senior women’s team at the Dublin cross country championship in Citywest with Lucy Barrett leading the team home in seventh place.

Kate Crowley took 10th place with Mairead Roche 14th and Ciara Brady 15th, giving the team a total of 46 points.

DCH took gold with 14 points with DSD taking silver with 35, 10 points ahead of Raheny. The Raheny team were well clear of fourth placed Clonliffe Harriers.

The men’s team finished well off the medals in sixth place. Kevin Byrne took 20th place followed by Robert Frewen 34th, Dara Mac Riocaird 35th and John Patrick Burklow 37th as the scoring team.

The non-scoring team members were Barry Meehan 38th, Vangatramana Karthikeyan Meiazhagan 50th and Davey Duane 57th.

In the junior men’s race, Jamie Whelan was first home in 13th place followed by Christian Finn 33rd and Jake Daly 39th.
