It was a day when the jumpers stole the show at the AAI Indoor games at the national indoor arena.
Colm Bourke won the long jump with a best jump of 7.27 metres. Whereas, Daphni Doulaptsi Teeuwen took triple jump victory with a best of 12.28m.
On the track, Isabel Twomey posted 8.30 seconds for fifth place in the 60m heats series one. Isabel sped up in her second race to post 8.24 seconds for second place in her heat.
Rebecca O’Rourke took eighth place in a competitive U18 pentathlon. O’Rourke included a impressive performance in the 60m hurdles clocking 10.62 seconds for third place.
