June Comiskey featured on the record-breaking Irish women’s W75 team which set a new World indoor record of 7:20.14 in the 4x400m relay in Abbottstown on Wednesday night.
The other members of the squad were Eileen Kenny (Tullamore), Evelyn NcNelis (Naas) and Phyllis Browne (Star of the Sea).
A big achievement from June and very well done to the whole Irish team.
