McDonnell Sixth at Lusk 4 Mile

Jordan McDonnell led a large Raheny contingent home at the Lusk 4 Mile posting 20 minutes 13 seconds to take sixth place.

McDonnell was followed home by Marcus O’Sullivan 20:25, Eoin O’Dwyer 20:42, Robert Frewen 20:49, Stephen Sharpe 21:22, Graham O’Dwyer 21:36, Brian Leahy 22:37, Lucy Barrett 22:44.

The team of Jordan McDonnell, Marcus O’Sullivan, Eoin O’Dwyer and Lucy Barrett won the mixed team event.

Elsewhere Nicola Doyle posted 80 minutes 18 seconds at the Naas 10 Mile and was followed home by Eva Sheehy 80:22 and Ellen Lunney 1:40:37.

Whereas, Mark Coleman posted 31:29 at the Colin Dunne Memorial 5km, while Ger Fay posted 29:27 at the Brain Tumour Ireland 5km in Corkagh Park.

At the meet and train meet, Caitriona Costello posted 13:21 followed by Lisa McCarthy 13:48, Clare Fox 14:24, Orla Gilheaney 15:06, Mel Dickinson 16:28, Una Cherry 16:32, Sinead Lyons 18:02 and Liz Keary 19:03.

On Saturday Fiona Stack clocked 61 minutes 27 seconds at the Bundoran 10 Mile to take second place.
