Easter is a very busy period at Raheny Shamrock and it all gets underway this Wednesday with the club’s longest standing road race, the Brian Holland cup.
Brian Holland Cup – Wednesday April 16
This is the 64th edition of the Brian Holland Cup and will take place on the traditional course starting at the taxi rank in Raheny village opposite the Manhattan bar.
The race moves past the shops onto watermill road down past manor house and onto the sea front turning left at black banks and returning to the start area, a distance of 2.8 miles.
This is a sealed handicap race. A gun to tape race takes place with results adjusted per the handicap. There is no entry fee. Start time is 7:30pm.
Please check in before the race up to 7.15pm. Entries are taken in the Raheny Shamrock Club house, old church Raheny village.

Easter Thursday Table Quiz – Thursday April 17
The Raheny Shamrock Easter Table Quiz takes place on Thursday, April 17 at 8pm in Raheny GAA clubhouse.
Entries are 10 per person. Teams are a table of four and you can join any table. There will be lots of fun and prizes on the night. There is also our special raffle, tickets are €10 each.

Club Track & Field Championship – Saturday April 19
The club track and field championships take place in Morton Stadium, Santry this Saturday April 19.

2025 Battle of Clontarf – Monday April 21
The Battle of Clontarf 10 returns to St. Anne’s Park on Easter Monday starting at 10am. Entry fee is €30. Entries are still open here.

Raheny Open Mile – Wednesday April 23
The Raheny Open Mile wraps up Easter week at Raheny Shamrock with the one mile route for the race being used for the National Road Relays on Sunday April 27th.
This is a fast flat race open to all athletes. Entry is €7 available here.
