There was great success for Des O’Neill and Conrad Latham at the All-Ireland track and field schools championship over the weekend.
Des O’Neill of St. Fintan’s High School won the 400m senior hurdles boys title in 54.29 seconds. O’Neill was well clear of Ruaidhrí ÓBaoill of Colaiste an Phiarsaigh in 57.50 seconds.
While Conrad Latham of St. Paul’s College took bronze in the boys 800m intermediate race posting 1:58.77. Isaac Vickers of St. Brendans Killarney won gold in 1:57.94 with Charlie ONeill of Belvedere College took silver in 1:58.14.
A very well done to Des and Conrad on brilliant achievements.
