Sean Kelly was the first of a shamrock trio home at the Chicago marathon posting 2:49:52. Kelly was followed home by Colm Cassidy 2:53:48 and Philip McGovern 3:09:20
On Saturday, Joshua Jacob posted 3:43:40 at the Galway Bay Marathon followed by Ellen Jacob 4:39:05.
At the Galway Bay Half Marathon Noreen Coffey clocked 1:50:07. Whereas at Fastlane Half Marathon Michael Boyle clocked 83:04 followed by Ronan Harris 91:21, Sean Ryan 1:43:18 and Greg O’Bierne 2:08:58.
At the Fastlane 10km, Rebecca Ryan clocked 49:57 and Jeremy Skillington 60:59.
