Kieran Kelly was fourth at the national 5km road championship just one second off bronze.
James Gormley of Carmen Runners took gold in 13:59 with DCH’s Pierre Murchan second in 14:18 and DSD’s Killian Mooney third in 14:35. Kelly posted 14:36.
There was silver for the senior men’s team of Kelly, Kevin Byrne, Cillian O’Leary & Robert Frewen behind winners DSD.
There was bronze for the O/35’s Ladies team of Annette Kealy, Maria Dolan and Lorraine Byrne took bronze and there was bronze for the O/50’s men’s team of Ciaran McCarthy, Damien Martin and Philip McGovern.

While there was Individual Masters titles for Annette Kealy (O/55), Kieran Kelly (O/35), Cillian O’Leary (O/45) and Damien Martin (O/60).
There was silver for Maria Dolan (O/55) and Mary Lynch (O/70). While Daniel Connolly took junior men’s bronze.
Also on Saturday Peter Leonard posted 83:12 at the Killarney half marathon, while at the Killarney 10km Helen Carr clocked 46:14 and Rose Kidd 47:13.
On Sunday Adrianne Atkins clocked 46:38 at the Lifestyle Sports Fastline 10km with Fiona Skelly posting 48:05. In the half-marathon Glenn Atkins posted 89:40, Carl Moore 1:55:11, Greg O’Bierne 2:11:07 and Gerard Fay 2:18:25.
At the ¾ Marathon Brian Hanney posted 2:53.19.
On, Wednesday Orla Gormley clocked 22:58 at the BHAA ESB Beach 5km Sandyford Beach. Orla was followed home by Nick Alexander 23:15, Colm Gormley 24:13, Gerard Fay 26:12, Una Cherry 26:30, Des Lyons 27:51, Angela Charlton 29:56 and June Comiskey 32:45.
