Brian Fay took third place in the Tokyo Golden Grand Prix 3,000m on Sunday clocking 7:42.09.
Australian Jude Thomas won out in 7:36.39 with Ethopia’s Ermias Girma second in 7:40.42. Fay finishing fast to take third place.
At the AI May Open in Tullamore, Daphni Doulaptsi Teeuwen won the triple jump with a best of 12.15 metres with a +0.4 wind.
Isable Twomey posted 12.97 to win heat one of the 100 metres. In the series two race, Twomey posted 12.92 seconds to take sixth place in heat two.
