Mick Clohisey was named the 2016 Raheny Shamrock Athlete of the year on Thursday evening. Over 250 club members packed into the fabulous Whitehouse bar and restaurant in Baldoyle to celebrate a year in which the club landed the men’s senior national cross country and road relay championship. Mark Smyth rounded out his 2016 finishing third overall at the Believe & Achieve in the 60 metres.
