Favors And Fogarty Star In European Throwing Cup
Eric Favors took second place in group B of the shot put final at the European throwing Cup in Leiria Portugal. Favours took second place with a best of 19.70 metres just shy of his national record. Niamh Fogarty finished 10th in the group B discus final. Fogarty’s best throw of 49.81 meters just short of her personal best. Fogarty posted to valid throws over 49 metres.
National Indoor Bronze for Camilla dalida Vigano
Camilla dalida Vigano took National U23 indoor bronze over 200 metres posting 26.22 seconds. A very strong performance from Vigano to take bronze. The race was won Sligo’s Lauren Cadden in 24.45 seconds with Moyne’s Katie Bergin taking silver in 25.10 seconds. Earlier, Vigano had taken second place in heat two in 26.22 seconds. Dara MacRiocaird posted 4:40.60 in the junior men’s 1500m. Sean L’Estrange finished fifth in the U23…
