Raheny 5 Road Race 2015

It was two for two for Mullingar, as Martin Fagan won the 31st AXA Raheny 5 this afternoon. In good racing conditions, he clocked 23.36, 8 seconds ahead of local favourite Mick Clohisey, who was second in 23:44 with Raheny team mate Conor Dooney third in 24:11. Raheny were well represented in Athlone today at the Glohealth National Juvenies and U23 championships. Star of the day was Sean O’Driscoll (pictured), winning the junior 60m title in a blistering 6.90 seconds just 0.01 of a second off the current club record and 0.02 off national √°junior record.
