The temperature hit 32C on the Tullamore Harriers track on the last day of the Juvenile championships, but that didn’t deter our juvenile shamrocks. The track season got off to a roaring success for our juvenile athletes. Over the course of 3 days nearly 200 athletes competed across track and field. We had first time competitors, loads of PBs and more silverware on its way home to the Parish. A massive medal haul of nine gold, seven silver and 12 bronze. Our teenage section has grown from strength to strength under the guidance of an amazing group of dedicated volunteer coaches. The sun shone for the 2024 Club championships. We were back at Morton Stadium on Saturday 13th April after last year’s hiatus whilst it was being resurfaced. It kicked off the outdoor track season for all our athletes and was the first competition on the track not only for the young seven-year-olds but also for some master athletes.
