Forkan Finishes Fifth At National Cross Country

Elena Forkan had a great run at the National under-16 cross country championship finishing fith overall and leading the Raheny team home. The team of Forkan, Siomha Magee, Darerca O’Sullivan, and Grace Meikle finished 12th team overall in a very competitive national field. Forkan was second scorer on both the Dublin and regional gold medal winning teams.

Luke Murphy Claims Dublin Novice Road Title

Luke Murphy won the Dublin men’s novice title in a great time of 15:50 at the Tallaght 5K on Sunday. The race was won outright by Hiko Tosona of DSD in 14:03.
