Sophie Becker starred as the Irish women’s 4x400m finished in eighth place in the World Championship final. The team of Becker, Roisin Harrison (Emerald A.C.), Kelly McGrory (Tir Chonaill A.C.) and Sharlene Mawdsley (Newport A.C.) clocked 3:27.08.
