The women’s team of Fiona Stack, Aine Crimin and Carmel Ward took national marathon silver at the 2023 Irish life Dublin Marathon.
Stack, Crimin and Ward had a combined time of 9:00.00 which was just three minutes 10 seconds behind gold medallists St. Peters. Galway City Harriers took bronze in 9:04.13.
The men’s team of John Shanahan, Terry Keogh and Graham O’Dwyer finished ninth.
Meanwhile, the men’s O/35 team of Kevin Moriarty, Graham Ahearne and Sean Kelly took bronze in 7:52.28. Clane took gold in 7:49.37 and Newbridge silver in 7:51.16.
There was gold for the men’s O/50 team of Terry Keogh, Oran Heron and Brian Kelly in 8:34.28. Omagh harriers took silver just 68 seconds behind. While Grange/Fermoy were third in 8:42.25.
While the women’s O/50 team of Mary Lynch, Caroline Farrelly and Elizabeth Rouine took bronze in 11:42.35. Gold went to Brothers Pearse in 10:57.48 and silver to Celbridge in 11:12.11
The women’s O/35 team of Michelle Roest, Aileen Cooke and Annmarie Woods took 19th place.
In the individual categories, Fiona Stack took O/40 bronze. While Mary Lynch took O/70 gold.
Meanwhile Graham Ahearne took O/45 bronze and Gary Alyworth took O/60 bronze. There was a one-two in the O/70 men’s as Maurice O’Connell took gold and John Clohisey silver.
