Kate Purcell took the Leinster master’s cross country in Avondale, House Co. Wicklow today and led the Raheny team to gold. It was a Dublin/Leinster double for Purcell having won the Dublin championship last Sunday. Niamh McCorry and the women’s 4x200m relay team both landed bronze medals at the National indoor U23 championships. McCorry took shot put bronze with a best of 10.97 metres.
