Zoe Quinn helped Ireland to cross country gold at the World masters championship in Tampere. Quinn finished fourth in the O/45 category, 10 seconds behind Catherine O’Connor who took bronze. Raheny Shamrock are saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Vera McDonald, wife of long time member Joe McDonald. Mrs. McDonald passed away on Thursday June 30th. National 200m champion Mark Smyth helped the Irish 4x100m relay team to sixth place at the Stockholm Diamond League on Thursday night.
