The 2022 Lord Mayor of Raheny Two Mile series begins tonight in Raheny village. Entry is €50 for all 13 races or €7 per race. Both Entry Option are available on-line, just click the join here button. Becker Fourth On Diamond League Debut
Sophie Becker finished fourth on her Diamond league debut on Sunday night in Rabat. Becker posted 51.84 seconds for fourth place. The race was won by Marileidy Paulino of Dominican Republic in 50.10 seconds. Sada Williams of Bahamas was second in 50.74 seconds with Jamaica’s Stephanie Ann McPherson third in 51.37. Quinn First Home In Women’s Mini-Marathon
Zoe Quinn was the first Raheny athlete home at the Vhi Women’s mini marathon taking 22nd place. Quinn clocked 37 minutes 15 seconds and was followed home by Sarah Quigley in 38:03. The third Raheny athlete home was Hannah Craddock in 43:13. This year the women’s mini-marathon doubles as the Dublin 10km road race championship.
