Forkan Wears Green of Ireland
Elena Forkan took fourth place in the under-17 race at the celtic games cross country at the Billy Neill MBE Country Park. Forkan was first scorer on the Irish team that came second to Wales in the Celtic Games Girls Under 17 event. Congratulations to Elena and best wishes in the green of Ireland and green and white of Raheny.
Favors Sets New Irish Indoor Shot Put Record
Eric Favors set a new Irish indoor shot put record of 19.84m at the South Carolina indoor track & field championships. Another fantastic performance by Eric who is sure to set some excellent throws in 2022.
Women’s Team Set New Club 4x200m Relay Record
The men’s and women’s teams made very performances at round two of the national indoor track & field league in TUS, Athlone. The women’s 4x200m team of Charlotte Wingfield, Camilla Vigano, Hannah Byrne and Tara Meier set a new club record of one minute 43.98 seconds to win the event.
