Another great day in the club’s history in Kilkenny as three gold, one silver and two bronze medals were captured at the Leinster junior and novice championships in Kilkenny. Gavin Eccles took silver in the men’s novice championship and was just 19 seconds off gold medallist Pierre Murchan of Dublin City Harriers. A rather strong day at the AI Autumn Open Cross Country at the national cross country venue. Iseult O’Donnell posted an impressive 23rd place in the senior women’s race in a race won by Britain’s Abbey Donnelly. Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club today launched the 2021 Autumn Classic series, seeing four two mile races beginning on Tuesday October 26th. For 2021 this road race series will take place over four consecutive Tuesday’s starting at 8pm.
