Graham Ahearne posted a very impressive 2:37.47 at the Manchester marathon on Sunday to take 34th place overall. There were good sub three hour performance also from Eoin Connolly 2:52.25 and Chris Quaid 2:59.10. Very well done to three excellent performances.

Gavin Eccles and Daniel Stone made it a Raheny one-two landing Dublin novice cross-country gold and silver as the men’s team captured the novice title. Raheny Shamrock swept the boards at this years National Road Relay championship held in Raheny for the 20th consecutive occasion. The senior men’s team were convincing winners of their title making it five-in-a-row! and the the club’s 11th national road relay title.
