Athletics Ireland have confirmed that next month’s National Indoor Championships have been cancelled. The decision has been reached due to level-five COVID-19 restrictions being extended until March the 5th. The championships where due to take place in Abbotstown on February 20th and 21st. Club subscriptions for 2021 are now due. The club committee appreciate and support our member’s efforts throughout a difficult 2020. Unfortunately restrictions appear to be with us for some time, but once allowing per public health guidelines the club aims to return to full activity as soon as possible. It is with great sadness Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club have learnt of the passing of Michael (Haulie) McGrath, father of Michael McGrath. Mr. McGrath passed away on December 31 2020. Mr. McGrath’s funeral takes place on Wednesday January 10th and can be live streamed here The club extends it’s sympathies to Michael and the McGrath family.
