The 2019 Lord Mayor of Raheny Road Race series was launched in Raheny today. The series of 13 “Two Mile” road races begins on Tuesday June 11 and runs every Tuesday until September 3rd. Sean O’Driscoll set a new personal best as he finished third at the Harry Schulting Games in Vught, Netherlands. O’Driscoll set his new personal best in the 100m semi-final posting 10.75 seconds with a +1.8 wind. O’Driscoll then posted the same time to take third place in the final. Brandon Arrey has been selected for the Irish teams for the European Games in Minsk. The second European Games take place in Minsk between June 21 and 30th, the first time Ireland will compete in athletics.
